A new podcast rooted in real conversation, real people, and real stories from Indian Country is launching this February on Rez Life Weekly.

Privacy, Please Podcast, hosted by Joe Morey, is a no-filter conversation series built around the stories that shape life on the reservation and beyond. It is a place for honest dialogue, uncomfortable truths, laughter, healing, and the kind of storytelling that usually happens only when the room feels safe.

​

There are no scripts. No talking points. Just truth, humor, reflection, and sometimes a few long pauses.

​

Each episode feels less like a formal interview and more like sitting in a booth at St. Croix Casino’s The Book, or around a campfire at Big Fish Golf Club after hours, where people finally let their guard down and talk like family. The conversations range from life, love, addiction, politics, culture, and humor, to the deeper experiences that shape who we are and where we come from.

While much of Privacy, Please Podcast will center on sit-down conversations, the show also blends investigative storytelling and intimate, inspirational narratives. Some episodes will dig into untold stories, forgotten history, and unresolved moments that shaped tribal communities. Others will focus on personal journeys of resilience, healing, loss, and hope.

It is part journalism, part oral history, and part community confessional.

​

The podcast will explore real issues without gossip, relying instead on interviews, research, lived experience, and firsthand insight. At the same time, it will create space for quieter stories that do not need spectacle to matter. Stories that whisper truth rather than shout it.
